My Bag is Packed, I'm Ready To Go!

First, here's the Blog Word for the Day - adumbrate: To outline; also, to foreshadow; also, to suggest; also, to shade.

The towncar will pick me up at six in the bleary AM. I'm off to the Land of SunTan for a day and then some. I wish this weren't just a quick trip... I haven't been in southern Cal for a while and it would have been nice to take some time and play. (Oh, yeah I know, but you should know, I am STILL not counting the trip with Kan and the kidlets to Evil Disneyland, which permanently disfigured my right foot).

The last time I was in SoCal for fun was when Kandy and I went to Santa Barbara in June of '94, for a couple of days. We visited my old haunts from my academic and partying days at UCSB. Isla Vista hadn't changed so much, but it looked more run down than I remembered it.

But, I digress. So sorry. Most humble apologies...

Tomorrow is a whirlwind day - I get on a plane, fly to the OC, de-plane, get a car, drive over to PSSC Labs and spend the rest of the day in Nerd Heaven. I'm gonna love it. So seldom is it that I can immerse myself in bleeding edge technology. It's going to be soooo cool. I've been working at getting to the next 36 hours for more than a year. It's time for the Gravy.

Gina has kindly given me some ideas for evening sustenance, as I tool around the Irvine area tomorrow night. I love the connections that we make in the "Blogosphere."
