Mother's Day

I have something to say to all you Moms out there.

I lift my glass of Kool-Aide to you:
  1. To all the Mothers who put colorful bandaides on their kids' boo-boo's and kiss each little boo-boo because it makes it all-better.

  2. To all the Mothers would spend almost each waking moment (and some sleeping ones too) thinking about how to make their child become a caring, giving, wonderful adult.

  3. To all the Moms who are just a warm hug away from happiness.

  4. To all the Moms who call their own Moms and talk and talk about everything and nothing, just to be talking to her.

  5. To all the Moms who share their Mom-ship with another woman - be it the Other Mom, or the Step Mom. It's a road with moguls and forks, but one definitely worth traveling.

  6. To all the Moms who go to full-time jobs, come home exhausted, and still have a warm hug and time to give to their kids.

  7. To the Moms who get up at 2am with their sick kids, change the soiled sheets, and make sure everyone is okay. (Why do they always get sick in the middle of the night?)

Moms are special people, and I salute every one of you.
