Busy... Busy... Busy and it All Goes Too Swiftly

It has been a week chalk full of school activities for the family, work responsibilities, and throw in the daily work-outs for Mom.

Whew!

We have been a family on the go. Even though school is winding down, it seems that the activities are ramping up. Kidlet #1 will move on to middle school next year, and Kidlet #2 will move on to fourth grade. My oh my, it goes way too fast. Last night was Open House at their school. It is just too obvious how ready the girls are to forge ahead.

For this Mom it is scary.

At first you cannot wait for them to grow up, but then there they are! And you are helpless to stop the process - not that you ever could. Or really want to. Still, it is going too quickly. What kind of human beings will they be? Will they like who they are? Will they like who we are? Where are they going? What will they be? What will captivate their imagination?

I just don't want them to "settle" in their lives. I want them to really and truly live their dreams.

Make it so, girls. You have the power to do anything you want. Just don't do it quickly - okay?
