Yers Trewly has finally succumbed to that gawd-awful bug that has been traipsing around the school classrooms (thanks to Kidlet #1's teacher), my boss' office (who could barely return my voicemail for lack of voice yesterday), and even at home. First Katie caught it - she thinks from her teacher. Then Kandy caught it - and was miserable for about 24 hours. All the time, I'm crossing myself, wearing garlic, and blowing kisses rather than making close contact with the infected.
It was inevitable, however. It found me. I'm done for.
Kidlet #2, though, hasn't shown signs of anything.
I think that Parental Units, as we're often called by the Child Units, should be immune from ailments coming from their offspring. It should be a Universal Law, don't you think?
