A few weekends ago my sister, Betty, flew up from Texas for a weekend visit. I was so happy for her to meet my family, see where we live, how we live. As it happens her sister-in-law, Lou, was here on business, staying with her brother, David, in San Francisco, and so we were together all at the same time!
So, on Saturday Betty and the rest of us all boarded the BART train. Betty hasn't been here since the mid 70's and she was all eyes, looking here and there from the train. Unfortunately, the sites from the BART train are not all that great... but she was able to get some idea about the Bay Area (albeit a bit industrial). We were in the City 40 minutes later, where we were met by Steve's brother, David:

Betty's first order of business was to shop at Gumps. My, my, my --- that is quite a store. After that, David and Charles took us to Chinatown.
As we walked to Chinatown I looked to our left as we crossed a street and spied Coit Tower in the distance. I kinda like this picture.

So, we're missing Kandy and Charles from this photo (Charles had to leave us just after lunch. :-( We missed him!)
All in all, it was a wonderful visit. I'm so glad we could all get together and enjoy each other's company.
